Last week, New Globe Homes held a charity bake sale in association with the charity shop
PAPER & CUP in Shoreditch. They are a non-profit social enterprise created by SCT which is a local charity based in East London. The Charity provides practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction, poverty or social isolation. www.sct.org.uk
Most of us don't know how lucky we are until we meet those suffering deprivations. Josh Smith, owner and CEO of New Globe Homes had this to say after working in PAPER & CUP “Throughout the event, I have met some truly blessed and inspiring people who have very little. If we can help them in only a small way I feel we have done our duties. I should like to thank my beautiful sisters for getting involved with this great cause and also for my great team for carrying out repair works on the shop, all free of charge”.
